One day Introduction to map and compass 10th August 2024

This one day introduction to map and compass is a practical hands-on day, showing you the skills to plan your own routes safely – be they local countryside trails or in the hills and mountains.

This course It is aimed at people with no navigation experience, or those looking to refresh their skills learnt a while ago but who want to get back outdoors. Equally, this course would appeal to those want to get into the countryside without relying on others, guidebooks or using easy well-defined routes.

Meeting at Church Farm Cafe Aldbury at 10am and finishing at 2pm
